Jay Lebed - Lebed Asset Management, LLC

Jay Lebed, Ph.D.

Jay is the founder and chief executive officer of Lebed Asset Management.  He graduated from Swarthmore College with highest honors in 1982, where he won the Brinkmann Prize in Mathematics.  In 1988 Jay was awarded a Ph.D. in philosophy and psychology from MIT.  He spent the next fourteen years in various capacities with Lewtan Technologies, a Waltham, MA-based provider of analytics for the structured finance business.  He became an acknowledged expert in securitization accounting and ultimately served as the firm’s chief financial officer.  Jay has managed portfolios of individual stocks since 2000 and  formed Lebed Asset Management in 2003.

Brad Williams - Lebed Asset Management, LLC

Bradford G. Williams, MBA

Brad is Director of Mutual Fund Research at Lebed Asset Management.  Brad graduated from Middlebury College, cum laude, in 1993 with a joint degree in economics and environmental studies.  In 1998, he earned an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.  From 2000 to 2005, he was Director of Investment Research and Portfolio Management for Wingate Financial Corporation, a Lexington, MA-based investment advisory firm serving individuals and small institutions.   He chaired the Wingate Investment Committee.  Brad joined Boston Investment Advisers in 2006 as Director of Research and portfolio manager.  He continues to perform these duties for BIA, while also conducting mutual fund research for Lebed Asset Management.

Katherine Bennett, MBA

Katherine Bennett, MBA  is Client Concierge for Lebed Asset Management.  Katherine has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry.  Her investment experience includes positions with Moseley Securities and Tucker Anthony.  She also was an Investment & Retirement Specialist with Charles Schwab.  Katherine graduated from Northeastern University with a BS degree and earned her MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management.
